First Cover: Kiteunit
In the current issue of the Austrian Kitemag Kiteunit I am on its cover with my Red-Bull-Pic-of-the-event from the GoldenJump in Croatia. It is my first cover ever, so I am pretty happy about it :-) Yeah! I hope it wont be my last ;-) Also in the issue are lots of reports about me and by me, so better check it out and get updated of the latest action of the world and Austria. Nice job Andi!Cheers

Sponsorpresentation: HappyFitness
Since I had been really stressed the last days at uni, and I wanted to present my video at first, I did not have time to introduce my sponsors until now. And since HappyFitness is reopening their studio, making it all more modern and bigger, I want to start with them.

Video: Julian Hosp - Playtime
Since the season is over now for quite some time and I am more hitting the books than ripping the water, I worked a lot on new sponsors, mags and videos. Clemens Saurwein has worked up a lot of my old video material and created a real fast and snappy clip, with great mix between New- and Old-School! I hope you like it and the nice spezial effects in it! TriggernautTeamriderMeeting Dänemark - Day 4-9 - Wonderful Week
The rest of the time up here went basically every day the same: Get up, breakfast, Kiting, have early dinner, play wakeboarding on the PS2, watch some movies, bullshit around with the others and early bedtime. After a week up here I totally finished the wakeboarding game. I beat everything and everybody, which is not normal for me, as I am normally not so into computers. I did not join the others wasting themselves as I wanted to stay focused on kiting but also had to get some university work for my practicals done!The kite sessions were almost perfect. I rode every kite from 5 to 13 in all kind of conditions: sweet waves on my strapless surfboard, perfect flatwater in my wakeboard boots or just Freeriding with megaloops in my straps and my 9 or 5… Even though it was always terribly cold we had more fun on the water then ever before. We even got some nice pictures despite the bad weather, so for sure there will be some nice travelstories in the upcoming magazines :-)
Right now I am on my way back to munich. With the plane from Cologone I will be picked up with the Four-Season-Travel Taxi an taken directly back home to Innsbruck. The next time a lot of studying and practicals are on my schedule. It will be too cold for kiting anyways. Maybe one or two sessions on the cable and one or two trips down south to italy… I will see!

TriggernautTeamriderMeeting Denmark - Day2 and 3 - Nice Sessions
We are now here for 3 days with every day perfect wind. On the 2nd day we went to a flat water spot and I took my 11 with boots and had a perfect wakestyle session. Yesterday the wind picked up and the swell forecast was 3m on the open sea. So I took the surfboard and my 9 and had 3 hours fun of ripping perfect North-Sea-Waves. Simply sick!We already have lots of good pics and had loads of fun. The only negative thing is the ice cold temperatures and some stupid things we did: I emptied Ottes battery of his car and Alex locked his car with the car keys inside… Well, but except for that everything is perfect and the forecast prognosticates wind every day except for today, so we will go wakeboarding! We are on total action 24/7 untill Saturday! I will let you know if there is anything happening until then! Cheers

TriggernautTeamriderMeeting Denmark - Day1
The few days after the Austrian Championships flew by, and I spent all of them with Jac, who was so nice as to stay 10 days with me. We climbed some mountains, went to the gym, and chilled around on parties and in the city. Every morning I had to go to the uni, but that is turning out to be quite ok. She left yesterday :-( and I had to take the Four-Season-Travel at 3 AM in the morning to leave for Denmark. They picked me up right at my house and took me straight to the airport… perfeeecct :-) First the girl at the Check-In wanted lots of money for my 60kgs but then one of her colleagues, who is also a kitesurfer, regocnized me from the mags and so I could check anything in without any problems… Thanx! I was leaving to go to Cologne where Triggernaut-Team-Kollege Otte was picking me up and we would drive the rest 700kms in the Chaos Van up to Denmark. We will be up here for the next week, getting some good pics, videos, get infos about new products and our main goal: have as much fun as possible!!! As soon as there are any important news, you will be the first to know!I have added a new folder in the Gallery with some sick pics from the Austrian Championships and the days back home!

Austrian Championships...Sales...athletiktraining.net...university
The rest of the days there was once again no wind at all, and so we did not have any results... but so what... I left a day earlier and had one of the sickest wakeboardsession on the cable ever. I got grabbed flat3s, smooth slider-rides and i also got some solid blind-judges... I was darn stoked :-)Dakine, Oneill and Triggernaut are having a sale of their whole collection in Innsbruck. So if you wanna get some real cheap stuff of the upcoming winter, you should better have a check:

For me university started back again :-( I am now changing my kiteshors into some scrubs ;-) Well... the season is over. To have a short flashback: I improved by two seeds in the pkra and we did not have any wind at the austrian championships, which is a pity, as I had good chances of winning it. This friday I am off to Denmark for a teamrider meeting with Triggernaut. I will give you som updates from there!

Austrian Championships - Day1 - Arrival
I came back home safely from Canada. I will be here now for about a week in Innsbruck and will then leave for the Austrian Championship to Podersdorf. I enjoyed thse days here in Innsbruck a lot. I had sick sessions on 13 and 15 with Daniel on Lake Achen, and also relaxed evenings with my friends in the city. And most important: I really got a lot done with new sponsors... since the season is over, I used my results and the free time now, to work up some great plans... But I wont give it away now! On monday, Jac suprised me a lot with an early arrival from Canada. She will be here for 10 days... Will be soooo sweet!Now I am off to go to Lake Neusiedel, where I will stay for 4 days for the Austrian Championships. All the good riders are here, so it will be an exciting event!! Today the weather and wind was not really good, but it was still enough to get some Expressionsessions done. The forecast is not that promising, but I will keep you guys up to date for sure!!!

PKRA Canada - Day 3-7 - Double and Halifax
The Doubles went really bad for all three of us. While Mike lost close against Alex Pastor destroying also his kite on the rocks, Mario lost against Reno breaking his board, I could barely stay upwind on my 15 and lost against 65kg Andy Yates. I had a shit heat, not being able to show any good tricks and so I lost clearly. Still, I enjoyed this visit to Canada to its fullest. It was one of the best vacations of my life, and big part of that was a girl named Jacqueline, who also got some nice shots of me kiting and filmed a small clip on her cam. I uploaded the vid onto my page, so you can see it in the full version of this article! PKRA Canada - Day2 - 9th after the Singles
Um 12:00 war skippers meeting. Ich musste, da ich 12. Bin gegen Mike Blomvall ran. Der Wind scwächelte den ganzen Tag, trotzdem forcierte der Veranstalter, den Bewerb durchzubringen. Viel Fahrer mussten darunter leiden: Mike Schitzhofer verlor extrem unglücklich gegen Seb Garat, und Mario gegen Kevin. Ich war unterpowert auf meinem 15er. Mein Heat war durchschnittlich, aber ich gab mein bestes in dem leichten Wind. Einmal crashte ich nach einem kgb fast in die Steinmohlen… Ich verlor den Heat trotz der nicht so guten Leistung Mike Blomvalls… Jetzt bin ich mal 9. Und muss in der Double gegen Andy Yates aus Asutralien ran. Wird ne harte nuss… ich hoff einfach der Wind nimmt ein bisschen zu, aber es sieht überhaupt nicht so gut nach Wind aus.Ein Mädel am Strand hat Bilder von mir gemacht und auch nen ganz kurzen clip geflimt. Ich hoff, ich kann sie überreden mir das Material zu geben ;-) Vielleicht hilft der eine oder andere Drink beim Pool spielen am Abend…hehehehehe!! Wünscht mir Glück für die Double, ich meld mich!
